1. CEO/BDO/Admin:
General owner of the company.
Obtains, secures and maintains sufficient clients for financial resources for development or future expansion.
Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry.
Adopt a team approach. Work closely with Supervisor and HB Admin in pursuing common goals.
Develop a situation analysis of the company as a whole including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business.
Develop human resources plan and personnel management policies and procedures which include scope, penalties, salary and wages schemes, et cetera.
2. SUPERVISOR:
Determine the duties to be performed and select the best-qualified candidate.
Provide appropriate orientation for the employee.
Give employees the information, technology and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs.
Provides training as an ongoing activity, crucial for new staff as well as for long-term staff who take on new responsibilities or who experience changes/challenges in the way their existing duties need to be performed.
Assign audio files to the employee, explaining how those shall be transcribed.
Develop evaluation and performance appraisal and make sure the employees are familiar with the evaluation process.
Recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate.
Address performance problems through corrective action and or dismissal.
3. HB ADMIN/HR:
Coordinate closely with the CEO in the preparation, development and implementation of procedures and policies.
Implement/administer human resources plan and personnel management policies and procedures developed by the CEO.
Work with the business office to conduct the recruitment interviews, screening applications, interviewing candidates, checking references and documenting the selection.
Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.
Deal with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.
Monitor daily allocation assigned by the supervisor to senior editors, junior editors and BTs.
Monitor TAT compliance of the Senior Editors.
Recommend solutions to resolve compliance difficulties.
Provide basic counseling to staff who have performance related obstacles.
Provide advice and recommendations on disciplinary actions.
Monitor scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and coordinate actions to ensure the staff absence has been adequately covered off to ensure continuity of services.
Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems.
Arrange for meetings as required and necessary.
4. IT SPECIALIST:
Oversees and maintains company website.
Oversees security of data/files kept in repository.
Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry.
Adopt a team approach. Work closely with Supervisor and HB Admin in pursuing common goals.
Develop IT related management, policies and procedures, et cetera.
Manage email information queries/questions.
4. SENIOR EDITOR:
Work closely with the BTs.
Provides final and clean output of transcripts.
Monitor TAT compliance of the BTs.
Recommend solutions to resolve compliance difficulties.
Formulate and organize performance evaluation for basic feedback and counseling to the BTs specially those having performance related obstacles.
5. JUNIOR EDITOR:
Work closely with the BTs.
2nd-pass; prepares pre-edited output of transcripts.
Monitor TAT compliance of the BTs.
Recommend solutions to resolve compliance difficulties.
Formulate and organize performance evaluation for basic feedback and counseling to the BTs specially those having performance related obstacles.
6. TRANSCRIPTIONISTS(BT):
Provide quality transcription output.
Performs necessary research of related information.
Follow strict compliance TAT requirements.
Coordinate appropriate document information directly to the junior or senior editors only.
Strictly follow Non Disclosure Agreement(NDA).
